Beer Keg & Growler with Dispensing Tap

Q1: Does this have a cooling system or will it fit in the fridge?

A1: It doesn’t have it’s own cooling system. The best way, is move shelf around in refrigerator and store it in there.

Q2: When you draft your beer it says to have it at 3-5psi. When you are done, do you turn the regulator knob off or leave it at 3-5 psi?

A2: I leave it on to keep the beer properly carbonated, while using the keg system, no need to turn off; after finishing dispensing, it is better to turn off and put in fridge.

Q3: At what pressure is the safety regulator valve regulated?

A3: The CO2 System: 30 PSI, Safety Pressure Regulated. When the pressure within the keg reaches 30 psi, the pressure relief valve will release excessive CO2 automatically.

Q4: Can you use this system for making sparkling wine?

A4: Yes, of course, are you thinking of pouring pre-carbonated wine into it? Wine has a higher carbonation level than beer so the cartridge might not last as long.

Q5: Ive been getting alot of foam when pouring. I even hold glass at a angle. I have it set at 5 psi. Is there anything im doing wrong/ i can correct?

A5: Pls turn off regulator, and pull on Pressure relief valve for a few seconds to optimize the inner pressure, then reset 5PSI, that would work better for you!

Q6: How well does the 64 and 128oz fit in the refridgerator?

A6: The 128oz fits pretty well. Just unscrew the black handle and it will fit on most raised bottom shelves. Alternatively you can lay it down and it will fit perfectly.

Q7: Can you get extra different size growlers to fit the tap?

A7: We offers 64OZ, 128OZ, 5L 10L pressurized single wall mini keg growlers and 2L 4L and 5L double wall mini kegs which all fit the tap.

Q8: How long does a 16g C02 cartridge last?

A8: As long as it takes to finish the growler – keeps the pressure at desired level throughout. The longest I took was 4 weeks (was 2 weeks out of town) and still held pressure. Once is done, the cartridge does not have have enough CO2 for another fill.

Nitro Cold Brew Coffee Maker

Q1: Why when I put a cartridge in, it comes out weak, any suggestions?

A1: Its gonna be a smooth flow not a gush. When you have seated the cartridge, shake it a bit and let it stand for about 20-25 minutes.

Q2: Can this be used with n2 nitrogen chargers as well or only n2o nitrous oxide chargers?

A2: Yes, this can be used with n2 as well. For n2 you will want to use two chargers, for n2o you will only use one charger. Although the keg also works with Nitrogen, but we recommend N2O Nitrous Oxide for cascading foam!

Q3: Do you remove the cartridges before storing the Keg in the fridge?

A3: That is optional, we typically recommend leaving the last cartridge in, to ensure maximum gas insertion

Q4: Are you able to use it with teas and ciders?

A4: We are coffee lovers and the primary use is meant to enjoy our system for nitro coffee. However, you can infuse just about any still beverage (non-carbonated) in our system to nitrogenate it.

Q5: Can this system be used to infuse Nitro into and dispense Beer?

A5: Hi, you can use any still beverage, so yes you can use beer as long as it’s not already carbonated. Cheers!

Q6: How do I get that nice foamy head with the cold brew coffee? I use one cartridge and about 40-48oz liquid in 64oz keg.

A6: Once you attach the N2O charger, give the keg a shake to help mix it and then wait an hour before you enjoy! Your range of 40-48oz is correct, you do not want to exceed 48oz as there needs to be room for the N2O to infuse.

Q7: Is it dangerous or possible to overcharge the keg?

A7: The pressure release valve will release gas, but as good rule of thumb you should not fill past 48 oz in 64oz keg, in fact, a good troubleshooting tip is to only use 40 oz of liquid if you notice gas escaping at all. Extra space for gas to form is crucial

Q3: How do you clean in this with a small neck. Don't think a bottle brush get to the top corners?

A3: You can use a bent brush. Just pick one that barely fits through the neck, bend a 90 in it so the bottom bit w/the brush on it is roughly half the diameter of the keg.

Or you can buy some cleaning tables, use warm water and tables can clean it very well.
